A precisely cut fretboard will make your guitar building experience much easier and ensure the finished instrument will intonate correctly.
This listing is for a custom cut fretboard using either wood you send to me or one I have in stock. Please contact me before buying if you have any special requirements or want to see what I have in stock.
You can customize the following about the fretboard:
Wood (see some examples in pictures, contact me for full list of what is available)
Scale length (both straight and multiscale possible)
Number of strings (for 8 or more there is an additional charge if you don’t bring your own wood as it requires a bass fretboard)
String spacing (both at nut and bridge)
Radius
Thickness (6mm default)
Number of frets and end shape (24 fret default)
Inlay (the base price includes pockets for dots, any other inlay also possible at additional charge, see “Inlay CNC Service”)
The fretboard you get is straight off the CNC and still has some machining marks that require sanding.
Discounts are available if you require more than one fretboard with the same specifications. Please contact me for details.
I will cut your fretboard as soon as possible based on my schedule. Typical processing time is 1-2 weeks (no guarantee, contact me if you need a precise estimate)
